Refund & Exchange Policy

At Local Hub, your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help — subject to the terms outlined below.

1. Eligibility for Refund or Exchange

You may request a refund or exchange if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The request is made within 7 days from the date you receive the order. Requests submitted after 7 days will not be accepted.
  • The item is returned in its original condition — unused, unwashed, undamaged, with all original tags attached, and in its original packaging.
  • The item is accompanied by the original invoice or proof of purchase.
  • The item is not listed under “Non-Refundable Items” in Section 4 below.

Items returned after the 7-day window, or not meeting the original condition requirements, will be refused and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

2. Delivery Fees

  • The customer is responsible for all delivery/shipping fees related to returns and exchanges.
  • This includes the cost of shipping the item back to us, as well as any fees associated with sending a replacement item in case of an exchange.
  • Original shipping fees paid on the initial order are non-refundable.

3. Refund Process and Timeline

Once your return is approved and the item is received and inspected at our facility:

  1. We will inspect the item to confirm it meets the eligibility conditions in Section 1.
  2. If approved, your refund will be processed and credited back to your original payment method within 7 business days from the date we receive the returned item.
  3. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refunded amount to appear in your account.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed.

If the returned item does not meet the eligibility conditions, we will notify you and the item will be returned to you at your expense.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refund or exchange:

  • Items purchased on final sale or clearance (where explicitly marked as non-returnable)
  • Items that have been worn, washed, damaged, or altered after delivery
  • Items returned without original tags, packaging, or invoice
  • Items returned after the 7-day window
  • Gift cards and promotional vouchers
  • Intimate apparel and hygiene-related items (where applicable, for hygiene reasons)

5. How to Request a Refund or Exchange

To initiate a refund or exchange, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order through one of the following channels:

    • Your order number
    • The item(s) you wish to return or exchange
    • The reason for the return
    • Photos of the item (if applicable — e.g., defects or wrong item received)
  3. Wait for confirmation and return instructions from our team before shipping the item back.
  4. Ship the item back using a reliable courier. We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we are not responsible for items lost in return transit.

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and a description of the issue. In such cases:

  • We will cover the return shipping cost.
  • You may choose between a full refund, a replacement, or an exchange for a different item (subject to availability).

7. Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the item you wish to exchange for is unavailable, we will offer you the option of a store credit or a refund.

Delivery fees for exchanges are the responsibility of the customer, as stated in Section 2.

8. Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled before they are shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible to request a cancellation.
  • Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible. You may return the order under the terms of this Refund Policy after receiving it.

9. Vendor Marketplace Returns

For products purchased from third-party vendors on our marketplace, this Refund Policy applies uniformly. Local Hub will coordinate the return process with the vendor on your behalf.
